“My people will sleep for one hundred years, but when they awake, it will be the artists who give them their spirit back.”

Tansi!

I grew up primarily in Edmonton, Alberta. I come from Treaty 8, calling Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation home as well as calling Ahtahkakoop First Nation home as my mother is from there.

While I have a wide range of interests, my favourite way to create and connect with people is through photography.

There is nothing I love more than people and capturing their milestone moments. I have been shooting since 2016, since then I have shot a multitude of different projects! I currently specialize in commercial portraits, weddings, and all things indigenous!

I am a creative that values all things indigenous. I am passionate about storytelling, building authentic connections, and embracing vulnerability. My dream is to be able to support young people through my lens of visual creativity, all while building a strong indigenous creative community.

I am so excited to be apart of your journey! thank you for allowing me to capture your life’s most precious moments.

Your friend,

– Tristan Talalee

Fun Fact #1

Tristan has worked in social work as a support worker for families and high risk youth for 7 years prior to going full time into content creation.

Fun Fact #2

Tristan is an aunty to 4 kiddos all under 5. They are her world outside of work and she absolutely loves being an aunty!

Fun Fact #3

Tristan has a corgi named Ginny (as in Ginny Weasley). Ginny is her only child and is treated as such. So this means do not be shy to bring your pups on shoots. <3
